Highlights
- A Nairobi day tour offers a rare opportunity to experience the best of Kenya’s wildlife and conservation efforts without leaving the city. The adventure begins at Nairobi National Park, the only national park in the world set right on the edge of a bustling capital. Here, wide-open grasslands and acacia woodlands create a sanctuary for lions, rhinos, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, and over 400 bird species, all with Nairobi’s modern skyline in the background—a truly unforgettable sight. After an exciting game drive, the journey continues to the David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, a world-renowned rescue and rehabilitation center for orphaned baby elephants. Visitors get the heartwarming chance to watch the young calves being fed, playing in the mud, and cared for by their keepers while learning about the conservation work that ensures their eventual release back into the wild. The tour then proceeds to the Giraffe Centre, home to the endangered Rothschild’s giraffe. Here, guests can feed these gentle giants by hand from raised platforms, enjoy up-close interactions, and learn about ongoing conservation efforts. To crown the day, you can enjoy an unforgettable dining experience at the Carnivore Restaurant, famous for its all-you-can-eat barbecue feast featuring a wide variety of meats roasted over charcoal and carved at your table, accompanied by delicious sides and vibrant ambiance. (Exclusive) Together, these experiences capture the essence of Nairobi as a city where modern life, extraordinary wildlife, and world-class dining exist side by side, leaving visitors with lasting memories and a deeper appreciation of Kenya’s natural heritage.
